Web Based Helpdesk

Web Help allows customers to log enquiries directly into our internal customer services system.  Enquiries are classified, allocated timeframes and tracked to ensure prompt response and identification on improvements to processes.

Web-Help allows our teams to work cohesively with customer teams and records all communications in one database for DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) and customised key performance indicators.

Mainchain

Mainchain is a customer portal, which allows customers to track their goods as they move through the supply chain.  Tracking data can be provided on the following:

  • Import and export containers
  • On-line booking of international shipments
  • Wharf cartage tracking
  • FTL line haul consignments
  • LCL consignments
  • Warehousing and logistics, on-line stock visibility in multiple locations and the ability to process orders via the Web.

Owens Inventory Management System

OLIMS

With a centralised database and software, which is maintained in-house, there are very few limitations on what can be done and where it can be done.  OLIMS provides Owens customers the platform for:

  • Superior customer service
  • Real-time responsiveness
  • Dynamic management decision making

The Owens system provides complete flexibility to customise order processing (by FIFO, batch number, serial number, product code, expiry date, barcode and even colours).

OLIMS can produce packing slips or priced invoices complete with company logos.

Prince Accreditation

The Auckland facility is Prince Gold Accredited and the Christchurch facility is currently participating in the programme.  This scheme is intended to confirm that team members comply with the New Zealand Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) protection legislation and best practice.  Accreditation is best assessed by determining the effectiveness of corporate policies, procedures and actions, the applications of technology and economic constraints.
